When you join the team, you will work on a range of exciting and challenging projects, from building an entire data platform, building complex data pipelines to load large volumes of data, or building a maintainable data warehouse and data architecture. You will understand the client's business challenges and needs, solve complex problems, and deliver effective, efficient, and pragmatic solutions.

You will work with the latest Microsoft technology to put in place the latest designs and patterns, making the most of everything the Microsoft cloud has to offer… and you will work with a team who are as passionate about driving real change with data as you.

About You

• You will be an excellent communicator and love explaining complexities in simple terms
• You will have over five years of experience designing and building data solutions using Microsoft technology
• You will be a go-getter taking ownership of tasks and always focus on customer outcomes
• You will research new ideas and experiment to improve your and your teams' knowledge
• You will reflect on the performance of yourself, your team, and the project to understand how we can work better and more effectively
• You are the happiest working in a supportive and dependable team on projects that excite and challenge you
• You love data engineering and have experience with the following:
  • Building metadata ingestion patterns using Azure Data Factory
  • Developing data pipelines using a range of technologies, including SSIS, ADF and Azure DataBricks
  • Developing performant and effective data solutions using on-premises and Azure SQL Server 
  • Securing data within the solutions you design and build
  • Developing indexes, partitioning, and advanced database tuning strategies to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Developing SSRS and Power BI reports that engage and delight users
  • Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines 
  • Understanding and appreciation of how project and consultancy accounting works
  • Mentoring other members of the team
  • Providing technical leadership on multiple projects
  • Working on large scale data platforms
