When you join the team, you will work on exciting and challenging projects, from working with customers to design dimensional models to developing Data literacy and governance approaches and working with customers and data engineers to design and build complex data transformations and suites of reports. You will understand the client's business challenges and needs, solve complex problems, and deliver effective, efficient, and pragmatic solutions.

You will use our design-led approach to develop detailed business understanding and highly intuitive, visually stunning, data-efficient reports and deliver massive customer value. You will become an expert in our customer's business and be critical to the successful delivery of projects.

You will work with the latest Microsoft technology to put in place the latest designs and patterns, making the most of everything the Microsoft cloud has to offer… and you will work with a team who are as passionate about driving real change with data as you.

About You

• You will be an excellent communicator and love explaining complexities in simple terms.
• You will have over two years of experience designing and building data analysis solutions using reporting tools, including Power Bi.
• You will be a go-getter, take ownership of tasks, and always focus on customer outcomes.
• You will research new ideas and experiment to improve your and your team's knowledge.
• You will reflect on the performance of yourself, your team, and the project to understand how we can work better and more effectively.
• You are the happiest working in a supportive and dependable team on exciting and challenging projects.
• Critical skills for this role are data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, excellent communication, data modelling and mapping, and general knowledge of data warehousing and governance principles.
• You will love business and data analysis, be willing to learn new things and have experience with the following:
• • Estimating the effort requirements and working with the project team to ensure that the project is successful for customers 
  • Defining business logic and data transformation requirements and documenting them in a way that can be understood by customers and technical team members
  • Reviewing current processes, business logic and data solutions recommending improvements based on best practices 
  • Working with customers to gather requirements and providing status updates to the team throughout the project
  • Deliver workshops and meetings with customers to understand their business in detail, including their challenges, requirements, and operating environment to define technical solutions. 
  • Reviewing deliverables from the technical team against requirements and working with customers to sign off before moving forward with implementation
  • Reviewing technical documentation to ensure that it is straightforward to understand
  • Developing comprehensive data models using reporting or data engineering techniques
  • Developing performant and effective data solutions using reporting tools
  • Advising customers on effective report development processes
  • Mentoring other members of the team
